Located on Mt. Hood, in the Cascade Range of Oregon, Timberline Lodge is a legendary and historic icon of the Pacific Northwest. Built between 1936-1938, it was declared a National Landmark in 1977. Students will have an opportunity to study and photograph the architectural craftsmanship of the lodge as well as the natural beauty of the Mt. Hood area. Included in this workshop will be a presentation and discussion of historical prints produced by Rick’s stepfather and mentor, master photographer Ray Atkeson.
